AF-S NIKKOR 35mm 1:1.8G DX
This cheap, plastic lens for a DX camera is very reasonable. It's valuable. It's fast (f/1.8). It's extremely light for walk-around. Bokeh is just o.k. Good for indoor parties where you need a fast lens, yet 50mm f/1.4 would be too close for many occasions to take group photos with your friends. I liked it but it became obsolete for me after I purchased my Fuji X-Pro1 with their 35mm Fujinon super sharp lens. D7000 with this lens is still bulkier than X-pro1 with 35mm Fujinon lens. Fujinon lens is much sharper, faster, better constructed and gives better bokeh. There is no contest in picture quality but the Fujinon lens is much more expensive and slower to manual focus.
